 I’m a young-at-heart Grandma who has been teaching in some form since I was twenty years old when I  became a preschool teacher. I loved it! I went on to create a home daycare. I was appalled by how many children in after-school care could not read well! I am passionate about children learning to read AND ENJOY IT! As a mother and teacher, I noticed each had a unique learning style. I want each child to have someone who would guide them to learn to love reading and learning. I became an elementary teacher and received my Master’s degree in Literacy. I  worked as a public school Reading Specialist, first-grade teacher, and sixth-grade teacher. For the last six years, I have done private tutoring. I love helping children become lifelong readers and learners and strive to help them in a fun way!
